Part# SIM-PB-01-3-BRKBOOST; Vacuum Tank to boost the vacuum signal to power assisted brakes. Quite often when a lumpy camshaft is fitted to an engine, the engine can suffer low vacuum at idle which in turn can make the brake pedal feel hard at times and you may experience less brake ability at low speeds when idling around car parks etc.  Quite often power brake units with only a single diaphram in the power vac unit itself seem more suseptable to this problem than ones with dual diaphrams.

It comes with rubber vacuum hose, hose clamps, one way vacuum valve, guage and the tank itself has a composite kevlar material look to it with polished alloy end caps and polished stainless steel clamps.  The other pictures show the installation utilising the brackets supplied with the unit. Of course it does NOT come with braided hose or polished stainless bolts, that can all be ordered separately, and you can install it on the firewall if you like. 

This installation is on our Ford Galaxie to see how it performs.  The brakes are good and it stops on a dime, however when it the engine is cold and on fast idle it could do with just little more so we decided to fit one.
