Part# SCpct-Uni-KBSktCap – Universal engine bay Metric Stainless Steel Socket Cap dress up bolt kit. This polished stainless steel bolt kit will not rust like chrome bolts can. This socket cap head bolt kit is from our standard range of 316 polished stainless steel bolts, polished to our Kustom Bitz standard finish. These are the bolts that have the Allen Key hex type slot in a round headed bolt with a gnarled outer edge. This custom bolt set is for those who do not have the patience to sort out what bolts they need, just order this universal kit which covers most Japanese cars and sport compacts.
For example; Jap Cars, Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, small Holden and small Ford cars.
Kustom bits have sorted through the common sizes in most import car’s engine bay to come up with this universal bolt kit. All you need to do is replace bolt for bolt and nut for nut to dress up your typical imported sports compact car engine bay. You may have a couple of bolts and nuts left over, however once you see how cool it looks it may prompt you to go further to do more on the car.
What we have tried to cover with this universal bot kit is all the highly visible bolts across the top of the engine bay. For example; the radiator support brackets, washer bottle, wiper motor, strut towers, bonnet hinge, tops of mud guards, etc. There is a range of length and sizes from M5, M6, M8 & M10 as you see pictured here, with spring washers, standard washers and large washers for the mud guards and windscreen wiper motor. This kit is a good starting point, then you can order individual extra pieces on top of these.
