Classic Car Crate Motor Install Service. I can pull your old engine out and drop in a new crate motor, either one you have purchased or I can supply one from a reputable local importer.
If your transmission or gear box needs a freshen up or reco, I can organise that at the same time or maybe you want to upgrade the trans or box to some of the modern alternatives. If the car hasn't run for a while I can drain the fuel tank and go over all the fuel system to make sure it is all ok. I can run new hose or braided hoses for fuel, heater, AC and radiator hoses to really set the engine bay off. Alternator, AC pump or power steering pump brackets and pulleys can be sorted, if we can't buy one that suits I can make them from scratch.

I can fit headers, new exhaust or tie it in to the old exhaust provided it is in good nick. Run new brake lines while the engine is out, or tidy up the engine bay paint. Typically the wiring is burnt out and very messy on the older cars, I can rewire, reroute and make it neat and mostly hidden. I can paint the engine if it is not painted and I can paint any of the engine accessory brackets and fittings where needed.
I like doing good work, so if you want it to be right and you are a bit fussy then I am sure you will be happy.
Typically the labour alone on a fairly straight forward installation would start from around $7,700 up to $30,000 or more depending on how much you get me to do, or how neglected the maintenance on the car has been.
I can do as little or as much as you want. From the basic get the engine sitting in there for you take over, right up to turn key, motor is running and a few miles put on it to make sure it is all going well before hand over.
All work is done at our standard hourly rate + parts + materials.
